The Italian state has decided to enchance the value of the itineraries that rediscover the roots of the religious and artisitc tradition matured through the cultural exchange of the pilgrims: "Europe - said Goethe - Was born in pilgramages and its mother language is cristianity".

Te most important jubilee managers are the  via Francigena e Romea, la Flaminia orientale, l'Appia e l'Appia Traianea. In addition, at least one religious goal haas been singled out for each region, beyond the five principal Italian sanctuaries of  Assisi, Loreto, Padova, Pompei e San Giovanni Rotondo. Parallelly numerous local iniatives have come out to outfit o rediscover walks of faith, making the Jubilee a new occasions to make known the cultural heritage of the land.
